Samos Sun Resort

Located at the south-eastern edge of the island, Pythagorio is a coastal town built on the ruins of 5th century Ancient Samos.

The birthplace of the great philosopher, mathematician and theoretician of music, Pythagoras, is currently home to around 2,500 residents. It’s a very important port with excellent tourism infrastructure, including a marina that welcomes a large number of luxury private yachts every year. Down in the picturesque port you’ll find dozens of taverns, bars and cafés.

The rich archaeological finds here -the famed Tunnel of Eupalinos, the Roman baths, the ancient theatre, the castle, the temple of the goddess Hera- all mean that Pythagorio rightly deserves the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site.
